ROV Pilot Technician
Approximate Course Duration: 3 weeks
This is an intensive three week course aimed at students who
already have a good grounding in electronics. During the course, you'll fly one
of our Seaeye Falcon ROVs, carrying out tasks such as closed bell diver
observation, pipeline and mock-up rig structure inspections and sectored
searches. These tasks will give you experience of the kind of tasks you're
likely to be doing during the initial stages of your career. You'll also learn
how to mobilise the ROV, create flight logs and interpret and navigate by sonar.
Experience of these pilot support skills will help make you an asset to the ROV
team you are assigned to. Your proven experience in these specific tasks will
assist you when it comes to finding your first job within the
industry. Visit the
ROV
section of our website for more
information.
